Thoughts

Peter came into my life in around 1964, appearing in the pub where we lived in rural Suffolk. He captured the heart of my older sister, Linda, and they were married very soon after. Peter is, was, a very genuine and extremely generous man who provided for his family in his own unique way. It is very true to say he ploughed his own furrow! Nevertheless, Linda and their children, Simon and Sally, had a wonderful and easy going childhood and have both grown into wonderful human beings, Sally, with Richard, raising two fantastic children, William & Evie. Linda devoted her life to Peter and her family and they can both be extremely proud of their life together. Peter's 'end of days' was to be regretted as he suffered greatly with his health and we all would want to pass on in a more peaceful way. Nevertheless Peter has left a great legacy in his family and can be rightly proud of them, and his successes in his long life. I liked Peter, despite some of his more amusing idiosyncrasies and he will be sadly missed. Rest in peace, Peter, you have earned it. Lots of love, James and family. xxx

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
